Over the last 30 years Scully RSV has grown to become a dominant provider of refrigerated rental trucks and trailers. Today, it is rolling out new expansion plans and aims to grow as a corporation while retaining a small-business feel.
In the latest edition of Trailer Magazine, Scully RSV’s CEO discusses how staying agile and passionate about their work has been key to the company’s rise as one of Australia’s leading refrigerated transport providers.
Scully RSV emerged in 1993, during a time it describes as a stagnant period for Australia’s cold chain logistics industry, with limited technological and distribution advancements despite growing demand. Recognising the need for temperature-controlled storage solutions, the company acted quickly and began building its reputation from humble beginnings, supported by a close-knit, dedicated team. Today, under CEO Andrew McKenzie, Scully RSV attributes its success to staying agile and passionate as a small, Australian-run business – though its growth tells a larger story, having become one of the country’s leading names in refrigerated transport manufacturing and servicing.
